Children's Dentistry Services
Child dentistry, also known as pediatric dentistry, is a branch of dentistry that specializes in the dental care of children from infancy through adolescence. It involves the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental problems in children, including those with special healthcare needs.

Routine check-ups and cleanings
These are regular appointments to check for any signs of dental problems and to clean the teeth and gums.

Dental sealants
Sealants are thin coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of molars to protect them from decay.

Fillings
If a child has a cavity, Dr. Amar may recommend a filling to restore the tooth’s function and prevent further damage.

Extractions
If a tooth is too damaged to be saved, Dr. Amar may recommend extracting it to prevent further damage to surrounding teeth and gums.

Root canals
In cases where a cavity has reached the tooth’s pulp, Dr. Amar may recommend a root canal to remove the infected tissue and save the tooth.

Orthodontic treatment
We provide orthodontic treatment to help straighten crooked teeth or correct bite problems for a healthy smile.

Our son was really nervous about going to the dentist, but Dr. Amar & the entire Laguna Premier Dental staff were amazing. They were so patient and kind, and they went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and safe. We recently had to take our daughter in for a filling, and the entire experience was so much better than I could have imagined. Dr. Amar & his staff were so gentle and compassionate, and they took the time to explain everything to us in a way that was easy to understand. Our daughter was a little nervous at first, but they did such a great job of making her feel at ease. We're so grateful for their care and expertise.

Brush at least twice a day, floss once per day, and avoid brittle foods like hard candy that may do damage to your teeth!
If your child has a dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth or a broken tooth, you should call your dentist right away. If the emergency occurs after hours, you may need to take your child to an emergency dental clinic or hospital.
